I have an obsession as of late. I can't seem to make a page without a tag of some sort showing up on it. I love these ones - they are sold in bulk at the office supply store - so inexpensive! This is one of my favorites that I've done lately. I love to use bright colors and the pictures on this one of my youngest from a few years ago just make me happy :)

I have not found much time to scrap recently. To many kids in sports and end of the school year stuff going on. Plus I'm trying to run again so not a lot of time or energy left to have play time for me :)
I do have this one. Sometimes in the midst of all the craziness of raising 4 kids. I forget how blessed I am. "Who could ask four more" :)

Jonny's baseball team started playoffs earlier this week. He has had a fantastic coach and a great season. They are the first place team in his division but need to win the end of the season tournament in order to keep their title.
They had a bye for the first game and then won the second. Game three was a big game - they were up against the second place team. After the first two innings they were down by 3. During the bottom of the 3rd one of our boys hit a homerun with 2 boys on base. Soon after Jonny got a double with a RBI and then scored himself. We ended up having time to squeeze in one more inning (by a mere 2 minutes! ). The other team of course had a big comeback and ended up going up by 1. We were able to score one run to tie it up in the bottom of the 4th. Since it was a playoff game it could not end that way. So the International tie breaker rule was employed. Using the international tiebreaker, the last recorded out will occupy 2nd base. Our boys played some amazing defense and the Dbacks were unable to score. We were up and I was nervous because Jonny was on deck. Our first boy was able to advance the runner to third but struck out. It was little J's turn. Every one was cheering for him. He swung hard and got a strike. Swung hard again at a high ball and another strike. With two outs he swung again and cracked that ball down the right base line bringing in the go ahead run. It was kind of crazy at that point with all the cheering. I looked up to see Jonny being carried off the field by his coach with all the boys chanting " Jonny, Jonny, Jonny" - it was something like out of a movie :) Of course this little boy who doesn't like noise was a wee bit overwhelmed by it all and was standing there with his hand over his ears but smiling from ear to ear :) He brought home the game ball and it is sitting on top of his dresser.
It is a double elimination tournament so we play again Sat morning. Go Angels!!!
New Year's Eve was going to be a low key family evening at home. Things changed a bit and we ended up hanging out with some of our neighbors.
It started out with Paul grilling some chicken and steaks ( a rare (ha ha) occasion - b/c we are trying to eat on a budget) and a bottle of my new favorite wine. I love the Cupcake label - a friend brought it to one of our GNO a few months ago - I've been hooked since. Depending on where you pick it up( CostCo is the cheapest I've found so far) its around $9.
After dinner Paul set up the projector and the kids watched "Tron" outside on the garage door. The dads were inside playing pool. The kids loved it! Not such a great picture. It was the perfect weather for it. They were warm enough in sweatshirts along with some hot chocolate, of course.
After that we came inside, hung out and played a few games ...
and then it was time to ring in the New Year.
Chloe crashed 10 minutes before the big countdown but her sibs woke her up .
Then it was off to bed.
I can't wait to see what the next year has in-store for everyone.

While Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, Christmas comes in a close second. We had a fantastic Christmas this year. Everyone was spoiled but we are really blessed all year round. We spend Christmas Eve with Paul's family at Oma's house. We were missing many people ( and you were missed! ) but had a nice relaxing evening with some great food. After we headed home and everyone put on their new Christmas Pj's!
Christmas Day started the same as always. We have our family Christmas at home before a breakfast of Cinnamon rolls - this year I made Grandma Heim's Monkey Rolls b/c I was short on time. Then we headed off to Providence for a fantastic Christmas service. We are so lucky to have a savior who loves us and sent us His Son and to live in a country were we are free to worship Him.
After church we headed over to Papa and Grandma Eisenbeisz house. We had a great time opening presents , eating yummy food and being visited by Santa. I must have been nicer than I thought because I had a ton of presents this year. It was a great day but I found myself missing my sister and her family. Maybe we can head to Idaho for next year's celebration!

This past weekend was all about soccer. Chloe had her first indoor game. Go Galaxy- Paul is coaching her again. They did great from what I hear. I didn't get to see the game this time. This is her and Haley in game day cloths :)

They played 3 great games and then had a rough finish in the final championship match. Haley did score 2 goals this weekend. They have 2 more tournaments to go then the season wraps up for her.
